bush pardons
On the latest pardon list were:
_Leslie Owen Collier of Charleston, Mo., who pleaded guilty in 1995 to unlawfully killing three bald eagles in southeast Missouri. He improperly used pesticide in hamburger meat to kill coyotes, but ended up killing many other animals, including the bald eagles. Collier, who was convicted for unauthorized use of a pesticide and violating the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, was sentenced Feb. 2, 1996 in the Eastern District of Missouri.
_Milton Kirk Cordes of Rapid City, S.D. Cordes was convicted of conspiracy to violate the Lacey Act, which prohibits importation into the country of wildlife taken in violation of conservation laws.
_Richard Micheal Culpepper of Mahomet, Ill., who was convicted of making false statements to the federal government.

_Brenda Jean Dolenz-Helmer of Fort Worth, Texas, convicted of concealing knowledge of a crimeDolenz-Helmer, the daughter of a Dallas doctor accused of medical insurance fraud, was convicted in connection with the doctor's case. She was sentenced Dec. 31, 1998 in the Northern District of Texas to four year's probation with the special condition of 600 hours of community service and a $10,000 fine.
_Andrew Foster Harley of Falls Church, Va. Harley was convicted of wrongful use and distribution of marijuana and cocaine during a general court martial at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.
_Obie Gene Helton of Rossville, Ga., whose offense was unauthorized acquisition of food stamps.
_Carey C. Hice Sr. of Travelers Rest, S.C., who was convicted of income tax evasion.
_Geneva Yvonne Hogg of Jacksonville, Fla., convicted of bank embezzlement.
_William Hoyle McCright Jr. of Midland, Texas, who was convicted of bank fraud.
_Paul Julian McCurdy of Sulphur, Okla., who was sentenced for misapplication of bank funds.
_Robert Earl Mohon Jr. of Grant, Ala., who was convicted of conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
_Ronald Alan Mohrhoff of Los Angeles, who was convicted for unlawful use of a telephone in a narcotics felony.
_Daniel Figh Pue III of Conroe, Texas, convicted of illegal treatment, storage and disposal of a hazardous waste without a permit.
_Orion Lynn Vick of White Hall, Ark., who was convicted of aiding and abetting the theft of government property.

wahat i did was wrong but desperate people do desperate things I will begin to pay you on 12/15/08I don't care what you think of me (name deleted) but know this I gave up my youth and stayed with ur crazy ass mother for 18yrs too long for the sake of my children I could of bail in the summer of 86 but did not fore fear of what would have happend to you and (name deleted) so instead I stayed never knowing enjoyment or happiness could you imagine how you guys would would have turned out if i left when u were 3???????? Your mother would have committed suicide??? BUT KNOW THIS I stayed in a misarable relationship soley for u guys,and because of it from the time I was 23 until I was 40 I did nothing but work to keep a roof over your head and support drug habits,you do what you have to do live by your grandmothers creed that nothing in this life is more important then money and some day u will wake up and you will be forty and wonder what happend to my life.Right now ur 25yrs old when I was 25 I had to kids and was working 80hours a week to support them that was my mistake and I'm not blaming anyone but myself but before you judge me walk a mile in my shoes u know (name deleted) you wouldn't make it sit down and think about would you trade places???? I don't think you could handle it.You want settle with cash fine if not do what u have to do just make sure that you can look at the guy in the mirror in the eye Again I apolgize and I will make it right belive it or not.

unfortunately, identity theft is not only morally douchebaggish, it's also legally nightmarish. in this the age of digital hucksters, pranksters, and various thieving merrymen, such manipulative acts carry heavy consequences. i've arranged with federal law enforcers, a solution, now completely legal in the new america. hungry ghosts will move in to the recesses left by substance abuse and failure to be civil. your nights will be a whole lot stickier when they move to suck all the jelly out of your dad arms. those low frequency whistles will grow louder each passing day and you'll be forced to wiggle walk to the cigarette store.

Rahm Emanuel, US president-elect Barack Obama's chief of staff, has apologised to an Arab-American group for comments made by his father that disparaged Arabs. Benjamin Emanuel was reported as telling an Israeli newspaper about his son last week:
The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee had sent a letter to Emanuel calling on him to distance himself from his father's remarks. Rahm Emanuel, also an Illinois congressman, called the group's president, Mary Rose Oakar, on Thursday to apologise on behalf of his family. "These are not the values upon which I was raised or those of my family," the group quoted him as saying. Pro-Israel 'fears' The committee, in a statement on its website, said Emanuel told Oakar it was unacceptable to make such remarks against any ethnic or religious group. Oakar welcomed the apology, saying: "We cannot allow Arabs and Muslims to be portrayed in these unacceptable terms." Some analysts in the Middle East have raised concerns about the appointment of Emanuel, who has a record of strongly supporting Israel, suggesting he could use his position to influence Obama's policies in the region. Emanuel dismissed the suggestions earlier this week, saying Obama did not need his influence to "orientate his policy toward Israel". Benjamin Emanuel is a Jerusalem-born doctor who was active in the Irgun - an underground Zionist organisation that fought the British in Palestine prior to the founding of Israel in 1947. |
